Loosening the Caregiving Knot is a one-day conference for family caregivers, hosted by Nancy's House in celebration of our 10th anniversary. As in all of our retreats, Loosening the Caregiving Knot balances information you need as a caregiver with opportunities for self-care. Speakers, workshops, community resources. Continental breakfast and lunch are included. Chair massages and reflexology will be available all day.
For caregivers who have no coverage for their loved one and who would not otherwise be able to come, there is an activities room on a first-come-first-served basis. Up to 25 care recipients can stay, and there will be craft activities, movies, and snacks. Please note that we cannot handle medical care or behavioral problems.
